Blue Duck Days

Blue Duck Days are the days that when all of the normal kitchen work (daily prep, cleaning, paperwork, etc) are done and we play with different ideas with the food.

We name these days-Blue Duck Days because of this recent conversation in FDK.

Nord:  "I think that I am going to try to make crepes today."
The Boy:  "What?"
Nord: "Crepes, I want to try crepes today."
The Boy: "Why crepes?"
Nord:  "Crepes have always eluded me, I want to get them down."
The Boy:  "All I am hearing you say is that 'I painted the duck blue because I have never seen a blue duck before.'"

The start of the Blue Duck Days!!!  That's QUACKTASTIC!!!!

Today's Blue Duck Days Dish-Sloppy Joe Nachos

The Sloppy Joe Nacho consists of Salt and Black Pepper Dutch Crunch Chips(we tried others and Dutch Crunch were the only ones that didn't get soggy), Sloppy Joe Meat, Pickle Pico de Gallo (sooooo gooood), Smokey Cheddar Cheese and Yellow Mustard-Roasted Garlic Aioli.

This one will definitely be on the Tasting Room Menu soon!!!
